When the 987.2 Boxster/Cayman was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and ascetic redesign for the platform. This Porsche 986 Boxster S 550 Spyder Limited Edition is #1457 of 1953 produced in 2004 to celebrate the Fiftieth Anniversary of the Legendary 550 Spyder Race Car, only 500 of these were imported into the USA. Finished in spectacular GT Silver Metallic, contrasted by a Cocoa Brown Convertible Top and a Cocoa Brown Full Leather Interior with Sports Seats. Having had just two owners who added a minimal 8k miles in 17 years, it’s hard to put into words how close to new the condition or this fabulous car is. Suffice to say if you could get into a time machine and step out into the showroom of a Porsche Dealership in 2004 this is what you would find. The car is truly collector quality.

The vehicle has been maintained without regard to cost by the selling dealer Garber Porsche, Rochester NY it’s entire life all of which is fully documented, up to date and includes updating the IMS bearing in 2015 at 4k miles. It also benefits from newly installed Paint Protection Film on the front bumper.
