When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and aesthetic redesign for the platform. The all new 9A1 Engine eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous M97 design. It’s 2.9 liter 255 HP Flat 6 Engine offers focused performance and under acceleration the exhaust note is magical above 4k RPM. The 6-Speed Manual Gearbox shifts seamlessly, and she handles like a dream due to the mid-engine configuration.
