Upgrades:

The optional OEM Porsche Sports Exhaust System (PSE) has been added to the car at a cost of $4k at some point in its life and it sounds awesome! This was an option on the car when new.

Background:

When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and aesthetic redesign for the platform. The all new 9A1 Engine eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous M97 design. It’s 2.9 liter 255 HP Flat 6 Engine offers focused performance and under acceleration the exhaust note is magical especially with the Porsche Sport Exhaust System engaged!  The 6-Speed Manual Gearbox shifts seamlessly, and she handles like a dream due to the mid-engine configuration. This beauty won’t last long and if you miss it, you’ll be waiting a long time to find another one this nice!
