This is a long review, but hopefully helpful. I was looking for a 2013-2016 manual Boxster S with low mileage and relatively highly optioned. I found Joseph on Autotrader and contacted him about securing a car. He told me that he could find the car I wanted, in the price range I was seeking. I just took delivery of that car. I was lucky enough to visit Joseph and to see his host of cars. Impressive is an understatement. More importantly is the work Joseph did in getting my car ready. It’s hard to believe the car is a 2013. It looks brand new, both inside and out. This was due to the care that Joseph takes when selling a car. He went above and beyond in many areas. Doing little things like giving me a sun shade, proving extra detailing, and making sure the car was up to date with mechanical issues. While I know that not everyone will buy a Porsche, those that are looking for a used Porsche sports car should contact Joseph. I completed a long-distance purchase of a 25-year-old Porsche 911 from Fawsitt Motors. Before the purchase, I contacted Joseph Fawsitt a number of times by phone and email and asked him specific questions about the car and its condition. He always responded to my inquiries promptly and with clarity, and he sent me the car’s detailed service history and CarFax report. The thoroughness and accuracy of his comments about the car served as a clear demonstration of his deep knowledge of 911s. After we finalized the purchase price and the delivery charges, Joseph quickly made the arrangements to have the car shipped to me.
Before shipment and during his pre-delivery inspection of the car, Joseph discovered several problems with the car. He remedied them at his own expense. It’s noteworthy that one of the problems was significant and was addressed skillfully by Chris Moore at Autobahn Extremist in Brooklyn Heights, Ohio. When the car was delivered, I was immediately impressed by the consistency between the car’s condition and the precision in Joseph’s descriptions of it: his keen eye for details was evidenced in the car’s fine quality.
After approximately one week of having the car in my possession and during a state-mandated vehicle registration inspection, unfortunately another significant and costly issue with the car was identified. I contacted Joseph about the issue and sent him and Chris pictures of the issue. Without hesitation and at his own expense, Joseph made speedy arrangements to have the car collected and returned to Fawsitt Motors. From there it was promptly taken to Autobahn Extremist, where Chris took what amounted to painstaking, time-consuming steps to correct the issue. After Chris had used his extensive knowledge and particularly advanced skill sets to complete his work on the car, Joseph arranged to have the car returned to me.
At no time after my purchase of the car did Joseph ask me to cover the expenses of the additional work. Moreover, the shipping fees that Fawsitt Motors incurred to have the car picked up and returned to Fawsitt Motors–and then shipped back to me–were complimentary. The two major issues could not have been foreseen and consequently could not have been anticipated by Joseph. While some sellers would have shown indifference about problems arising after the very recent sale of a 25-year-old pre-owned car and would have left those problems to the car’s new owner, Joseph underwrote the cost of the additional, necessary repairs. The post-purchase support that he provided was consistently professional, personable, and ethical.

I was looking for a 996 Turbo in a difficult to find color and with specific options. I got extremely lucky that Joseph had the car. I flew out to look at the car and it was love at first sight. I also looked at the other cars that were in inventory to get a feel about the type of dealer he is. Every car was well taken care of, which helped give me confidence. I purchased the car that day and Joseph helped arrange the PPF, ceramic coat, and the transportation. He made the process so easy. I would definitely recommend Fawsitt Motors.

Several years ago I sold Joseph my 2004 Anniversary Boxster. As I watched him meticulously exam the car from paint quality to diagnostics, I knew should there come a time when I would purchase another Porsche that there would be no hesitation contacting Joseph.
It’s an odd thing that Porsche owners seem to experience as the car becomes part of your soul. Maybe it’s the musical tone of the flat six as you accelerate or the feeling of joy as you wind through a series of turnsbut when the spot in your garage where your Porsche was parked there seems to be this void.
That being said, I did call Joseph and arranged to purchase another Porsche. As I fully expected, the process was seamless, the car impeccable and the shipment of the car expertly done. I did have several questions about the car car after taking delivery and received prompt responses from Joseph.

I️ have researched and dreamt of a 911 for all of my childhood and adult life. I️ wanted this experience to match the dream….and it really did. I️ found almost the exact vehicle I️ wanted and I️ was extremely fortunate to find it 4 miles away with Joseph of Fawsitt motors. I️ knew I️ found the right place and person from his response to my request to test drive the car. His response in so many words was “I️ cannot let you do that currently, as these cars are not to be driven in this weather and these conditions”. I️ need to mention that I️ test drove one at a dealership just the week prior. His knowledge and care for these vehicles is unheard of, and I️ knew immediately this was the place. I searched for a 991.1 for years with this exact specification…GT Silver over Carrera Red. NON-PDK, Burmester, etc.. These are the last of the Naturally Aspirated / Manual Transmission Porsches. Joseph took care of everything that would be of concern for reliability and cosmetics – and additionally, prepped the car with full paint correction, PPF, ceramic coating and ceramic window tint. Basically delivered a turn-key car ready to be fully enjoyed without concern. I can’t say enough positive things about his professionalism and knowledge. I would not hesitate for a second to purchase another vehicle from him. Look at the specs of the cars he has sold on his website. Never thought I would buy a car sight unseen online from the other side of the country, let alone buying a Porsche for the first time. Joseph made this a painless and truly positive experience, it was like Joseph was finding the right car for the buyer and the right buyer for the car – he clearly takes a lot of time and care in sourcing his cars. We spoke extensively on the phone about what I was looking for in the car making sure I was making the right choice.

When my wife and I made the decision to replace our first Porsche, our beloved 986 Boxster, she assumed it would take some time to find just the right 981. It took one day!
Little did she know I had been looking at the cars of Fawsitt Motors for some time. I had been impressed with the quality and specs of the cars listed for sale as well as those listed as sold. He clearly had an eye for the most desirable cars. When I opened the website a few weeks ago, a triple blue 2013 981 practically jumped off the page at me – 6 speed manual, PASM, heated and vented Sports seats, Sport Design steering wheel, Bose, etc. as well as an awesome and rare color combo – it ticked nearly every box for me. And it had less than 17,000 miles. I had to call about it, and I’m glad I did. Joseph answered the phone and talked in detail about the car’s history and maintenance record. Even though I was from out of state, I decided – based on 5 star reviews and Joseph’s obvious knowledge and passion for the cars he curates, and nearly 100 pictures of the car online! – to put a credit card deposit and the car and wire the balance a few days later. Yes, I bought a car sight unseen and without a PPI!

Buying a used Porsche can be dicey for many reasons. If you want to avoid these and have a satisfying experience, buy from the best – – Fawcett Motors. Before calling Jospeh, I read his reviews and they were stellar; the reality was even better. In my opinion, Joseph is doing all of the hard work for you; he does not take second rate vehicles in simply to turn them over. He is meticulous about what he offers for sale. I purchased a 2013 Boxter S in mint condition with low miles in a very smooth and transparent transaction. It has been a joy to drive. Joseph is always there to answer questions and is never pushy. I would never buy a vintage Porsche from anyone else.

One of the best car purchases ever and done remotely. (my 6th Porsche) Everything was as described. Knowledge and integrity from Joseph Fawsitt is the best. When the 981 CS arrived we were blown away. Fawsitt Motors has some of the best examples of pre-owned Porsches available. It is amazing to me that he finds such great cars.
