I just took in on trade for the second time this gorgeous 2010 Porsche Boxster 987.2 Roadster, with 6 Speed Manual Transmission. Finished in Classic Black contrasted by a Sand Beige Standard Leather Interior and a Black Convertible Top. The car has had just four owners (the second for 10 years), who accumulated a modest 34k miles, it’s in magnificent condition. Background:

When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and aesthetic redesign for the platform. The all new 9A1 Engine eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous M97 design. It’s 2.9 liter 255 HP Flat 6 Engine offers focused performance and under acceleration the exhaust note is magical above 4k RPM. The 6-Speed Manual Gearbox shifts seamlessly, and she handles like a dream due to the mid-engine configuration. This beauty won’t last long and if you miss it, you’ll be waiting a long time to find another one this nice!

The 2012 911/997.2 marks the end of the truly analog 911. My Impressions:

I’m fortunate to be able to drive and enjoy many different Porsche Sports Cars through my business, they are all exceptional in their own right/era. Having driven several similar Spyders during sunny afternoons on traffic free country roads all I can say is WOW!  They left a hugely positive impression on me, and I would be hard pressed to consider anything else if I was in the market to add a convertible to my stable.
