When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical for the platform. The introduction of the new DFI Engine eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous engine design. The “S” offers focused performance from the 3.4-liter 310 HP engine mated to a silky smooth 6-speed manual gearbox. The mid-engine layout provides excellent weight balance and go-kart like handling. Sunny days are close to enjoy plenty of top-down motoring in this beauty!
