Background:

When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical for the platform. The introduction of the new DFI Engine in the “S” eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous engine design. The “S” offers focused performance from the 3.4-liter 310 HP engine mated to a silky smooth 6-speed manual gearbox. With Sport-Chrono & PSE modes engaged, the performance gets even more intense. The mid-engine layout provides excellent weight balance and go-kart like handling which becomes even more evident with the optional PASM selected. This is a very unique and hard to find Boxster S.

The 981 is my favorite generation of the Porsche Boxster and this S in Agate Grey Metallic ticks all the boxes. The 6-cylinder 3.4-liter engine rated at 315 hp has a magical exhaust note under acceleration and a substantial increase in performance over the base model and in Sport Chrono Plus Mode the car really comes alive. Shifting is handled by the acclaimed silky smooth 7-Speed PDK (Porsche Double Clutch) Gearbox.
