When the 987.2 Boxster/Cayman was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and ascetic redesign for the platform. The 981 is my favorite generation of the Porsche Boxster and this GTS ticks all the boxes for me, introduced in 2015 it was the highest specification Boxster offered at the time. The 6 cylinder 3.4 liter engine rated at 330hp sounds magical under acceleration with the Sport Exhaust engaged and is a substantial increase in performance over the S model. With the PASM engaged in handles on rails! Top down, wind in your hair, spring is on the horizon so don’t miss out and did I mention it’s a GTS?
