It’s 2.9 liter 255 HP Flat 6 Engine offers focused performance and under acceleration the exhaust note is magical above 4k RPM. The 6-Speed Manual Gearbox shifts seamlessly, and she handles like a dream due to the mid-engine configuration. Background:

When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical for the platform. The introduction of the new DFI Engine in the “S” eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous engine design. The “S” offers focused performance from the 3.4-liter 310 HP engine mated to a silky smooth 6-speed manual gearbox. With Sport-Chrono & PSE modes engaged, the performance gets even more intense. The mid-engine layout provides excellent weight balance and go-kart like handling which becomes even more evident with the optional PASM selected. This is a very unique and hard to find Boxster S.
