Amazing 2003 Porsche 996 Targa with 6-Speed Manual Gearbox. Finished in stunning Seal Grey Metallic contrasted by a Graphite Grey Leather Interior. With just one California Owner who added under 8k miles in the 18 years since he took delivery the vehicle is in Time Warp condition showing little to no wear with all original factory paint that gleams like new and an interior that looks like it was rarely used. In my opinion this Targa would fit very well into into the most discriminating Porsche Collection. At delivery the new owner will be presented with 4 keys and a full set of owner’s manuals.
Although the vehicle has received regular servicing over the years at Stevens Creek Porsche, Santa Clara, CA. Due to the quality of the vehicle I made the decision to invest a substantial amount of money to bring it completely up to date for the new owner. Below is a list of what has been completed or is in process on the Targa:
IMS Bearing Replaced
Rear Main Seal Replaced
Engine Oil & Filter Replaced
Brake Fluid Flushed
Gearbox Oil Replaced
Engine Air Filter Replaced
Serpentine Belt Replaced
6x Spark Plugs Replaced

On Consignment 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa with desirable G50 Gearbox. The current owner purchased the car from the estate of a relative in 2012, a Doctor in Las Vegas. Since that time it has been covered in heated, dry storage and only seen very occasional use (500 miles).
The vehicle spent most of it’s life out West according to the Clean Carfax (link below), this is evidenced by the extremely nice condition of the bodywork/paint & lack of any rust. On taking possession of the car I changed some of the fluids and drove it approximately 30 miles, it performed quite well considering the years of inactivity. The engine starts and runs without smoke and pulls as you would expect. The gearbox shifts smoothly when warm, the brakes are in very good condition and the tires are new. The car has clearly been well maintained over it’s life, however the maintenance records have been lost to time. Due to the many years of inactivity, some further mechanical servicing should be completed prior to returning the car to full use.
This is a great opportunity to acquire a solid G50 911 at a very reasonable price. It won’t take too much of an investment to bring this car into very strong driver condition. I’m happy to discuss the car in detail to all prospective buyers.
Included in the sale are: Spare Wheel, Jack, Partial Tool Kit, Owners Manual & 3 Keys.
