When the 987.2 Boxster/Cayman was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and ascetic redesign for the platform. This 2006 987.1 is the second-generation of the Boxster with a clear connection back to the original 986 Boxster of 1997.  The 2.7 liter 242hp M97 Flat 6 Engine offers spirited performance and although still constructed with an IMS Bearing, this example was built in June 2006 and therefore has the most reliable and strongest double row version. The 981 is my favorite generation of the Porsche Boxster and this GTS ticks all the boxes for me, introduced in 2015 it was the highest specification Boxster offered at the time. The 3.4-liter 6-cylinder engine rated at 330hp offers a substantial increase in performance over the S model.  The engine sounds magical under acceleration with the Sport Exhaust engaged and PASM offers Go Kart like handling!
