I’m fortunate to be able to drive and enjoy many different Porsche Sports Cars through my business, they are all exceptional in their own right/era. Having driven several similar Spyders during sunny afternoons on traffic free country roads all I can say is WOW!  They left a hugely positive impression on me, and I would be hard pressed to consider anything else if I was in the market to add a convertible to my stable.

On consignment from the second owner who I sold it to in late 2021 is this gorgeous 2011 Porsche 987.2 Boxster with 7-Speed PDK Transmission. Finished in stunning & rare Ruby Red Metallic, contrasted by a Sand Beige Standard Leather Interior and a Black Convertible Top. Having covered a modest 33k miles, the car is in magnificent condition and shows its age very well. In 2021 I completed major maintenance and installed a new battery. Since then, the PDK transmission has been serviced and Porsche Approved Bridgestone Tires have been mounted.  Prior to delivery all factory maintenance will be current. When the 987.2 Boxster was introduced for the 2009 model year it represented a major mechanical and aesthetic redesign for the platform. The all new 9A1 Engine eliminated all of the potential issues associated with the previous design. It’s 2.9 liter 255 HP Flat 6 Engine offers focused performance and under acceleration with Sport Chrono/Sport Plus engaged the exhaust note is magical!  The PDK (Porsche Double Clutch) Gearbox shifts seamlessly, and she handles like a dream due to the mid-engine configuration. This beauty won’t last long!

The 981 is my favorite generation of the Porsche Boxster and this S in Agate Metallic ticks all the boxes. The 6-cylinder 3.4-liter engine rated at 315 hp has a magical exhaust note under acceleration and provides a substantial increase in performance over the base model. Mated to the silky-smooth, engaging, manual 6-speed gearbox and the mid-engine configuration yields “go-kart” handing. All in all the prefect package. Top down, wind in your hair, don’t miss out!

The mid-engine configuration provides Go-Kart like handling making this package the perfect sports car. Porsche didn’t offer a 981 Boxster GTS until 2015; this car built in 2013 in the first year of production is the mostly highly optioned 981 Boxster I’ve ever offered for sale and is equivalently optioned to GTS before it was available.  Opportunities to own 13-year-old Porsche’s in this condition rarely come along, don’t miss out!
