    On Consignment 1988 Porsche 911 Carrera Targa with desirable G50 Gearbox. The current owner purchased the car from the estate of a relative in 2012, a Doctor in Las Vegas. Since that time it has been covered in heated, dry storage and only seen very occasional use (500 miles).

    The vehicle spent most of it’s life out West according to the Clean Carfax (link below), this is evidenced by the extremely nice condition of the bodywork/paint & lack of any rust. On taking possession of the car I changed some of the fluids and drove it approximately 30 miles, it performed quite well considering the years of inactivity. The engine starts and runs without smoke and pulls as you would expect. The gearbox shifts smoothly when warm, the brakes are in very good condition and the tires are new. The car has clearly been well maintained over it’s life, however the maintenance records have been lost to time. Due to the many years of inactivity, some further mechanical servicing should be completed prior to returning the car to full use.

    Custom ordered from Mathews Ford in Oregon, OH, the vehicle arrived on October 8th, 2011. Since taking delivery the original enthusiast owner has approached the care and maintenance of the vehicle in a fastidious manner, with extensive supporting documentation. Stored during the winter and consistently serviced by the original dealer & a local specialist the car has lived a privileged life. The link to the Carfax report below shows no damage or accidents. The track key was activated by the selling dealer early in the cars life in addition to the installation of the factory brake duct kit and transmission oil cooler.
